Dr Natalia Mitina attained her medical degree at Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University in 2003 at which time she was awarded the Gold Medal Award for academic excellence and the “Intellectual Treasure of Russia” State Award. Natalia completed her specialist medical training at Hertzen’s National Cancer Centre, Moscow. In 2006 Natalia relocated to the Gold Coast, Australia, where she continued her radiation oncology training and was awarded the Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists in 2016.
Natalia actively engages in clinical research and is a member of: The International Stereotactic Radiosurgery Society (ISRS), Cooperative Trials Group for Neuro-Oncology (COGNO), The TransTasman Radiation Oncology Group (TROG) and European Society for Radiotherapy and Oncology (ESTRO). Natalia is a senior lecturer at the University of Queensland and a reviewer for Journal of Medical Imaging and Radiation Oncology (JMIRO) and Journal of Medical Radiation Sciences (JMRS).
