How to book
If you haven’t yet chosen one of our practising Obstetricians at John Flynn, this would be your first step. Following this, once you have met with your Obstetrician to confirm your pregnancy, they will provide you with a complete package of booking forms. We then encourage you to complete our online bookings registration form.
You will receive an automatic email reply to confirm that your online registration form has been received. Please note that your maternity booking at John Flynn Private Hospital is not guaranteed until we have received your completed paperwork. To secure your booking, it is advised to either complete your online bookings registration form or return the Admission Information Booklet to the hospital within 2 weeks of receiving them.

Private Health Insurance
Contact your private health fund who will confirm your level of cover and advise you if there is an excess or co-payment on your policy. For more information go to Payment Information.
Previous Medical Treatment
If you have been receiving treatment elsewhere - especially outside of Australia - please be sure to advise your Obstetrician.
Self-Funded Packages

Pre-Admission Meet and Greet
At 34 weeks you are invited to come along and have a pre-admission meet-and-greet with a midwife at the Birth Centre. This interview enables new parents to meet our staff and also helps us to identify any requests or specific needs that you may have.
