Dr Agolley is an Australian trained Orthopaedic Surgeon with a practice on the Gold Coast for over 10 years. He has a special interest in robotic hip and knee replacement, rapid recovery direct anterior approach total hip replacement, sports hip and knee surgery, and hip and knee preservation surgery. He became a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and is a member of the Australian Orthopaedic Association.
Dr Agolley was born to Ghanean and Chinese parents in London, UK and migrated to Melbourne in the 1980s. He gained a Bachelor of Science degree with first class research honours from Monash University in 1997, followed by a medical degree from The University of Newcastle in 2002.
His pursuit of excellence continued through the Australian Orthopaedic Specialist training based in Sydney. Dr Agolley's commitment to staying at the forefront of orthopaedic knowledge led him to complete two prestigious fellowships in London, UK. These fellowships were hosted by internationally acclaimed institutions, including University College Hospital, Princess Grace Hospital, and the Institute of Sport and Exercise Health who care for members of the British Olympic team.
Dr Agolley's is committed to ongoing education through his role in teaching medical physiotherapy and nursing students from Griffith, Bond and Southern Cross universities.
