Dr Jason Tsung is a well-regarded, qualified Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with further training and interest in conditions of the hip and knee, and joint replacement surgery. He is currently a key opinion leader in robotic assisted hip and knee replacement surgery, and as such, educates his peer surgeons on these specialist operative techniques.
Dr Tsung works in both public and private health sectors, as well as private practice. Dr Tsung is a renowned innovator both in his field and advocating for use of technology to improve surgical results and patient experience.
Dr Tsng is a committed educator and actively involved in registrar teaching and clinical research. He has been published in peer-reviewed scientific journals such as the Journal of Arthroplasty, ANZ Journal of Surgery, and the Australian Journal of Primary Health. In 2019 Dr Tsung was jointly awarded the distinguised NSW Secretary of Health's Clinical Innovation Award for the design and implementation of Knee and Hip Arthritis Service for the Northern NSW LHD. This project is now under adoption througout NSW health.
