Dr Michael Graze is an Orthopaedic Surgeon with an interest in Shoulder, Hip and Knee surgery at John Flynn Private Hospital. Michael has been an Orthopaedic Surgeon since 2005 having undertaken his orthopaedic training in Melbourne.
He then undertook three further years of fellowship training (Canada - Sports Medicine, Gold Coast - Arthroplasty, and Melbourne - Trauma).
Michael opened ‘Gold Coast Orthopaedics’ at John Flynn Private Hospital in 2008 and in 2020, he moved to nearby premises at 408 Coolangatta Road, Bilinga.
He sees private, public and WorkCover patients, and performs surgery at John Flynn Private Hospital, The Tweed Hospital and Murwillumbah District Hospital. He consults at his practice in Bilinga, and also in Ballina at 79 Tamar Street, Ballina, NSW.
His practice covers a range of musculoskeletal conditions from acute sporting ligament injuries and fractures, through to chronic pathology including arthritis.
Michael is an accomplished surgeon who takes a holistic approach utilising both conservative and surgical pathways. He is also experienced with a range of innovative techniques that involve computer navigated and robotic procedures, with a focus on bone preservation.
