Dr Martin also has had a public appointment at Tweed Hospital since April 2011. He trained in the UK and moved to Australia in 2003, having completed his MRCP and trained in Medical Oncology in Brisbane.
He is involved in the multidisciplinary meetings for breast cancer, urological cancers, gastrointestinal disease and palliative care and is in close liaison with Surgeons and Physicians both here at John Flynn and at Tweed Hospital.
His main interests are in the treatment of testicular, castrate-resistant prostate and breast cancers, recruitment for clinical trials and in providing palliative care. However, he is happy to treat all non-haematological malignancies.
