Dr Abhay Daniel is an Endocrinologist and General Physician who completed his dual Fellowship of Royal Australasian College of Physicians in Endocrinology and General Medicine at Royal Brisbane and Gold Coast Hospitals. He also trained at the University of Colorado, USA.
Dr Daniel has specific interests in Type 1 Diabetes, Diabetes in pregnancy, Insulin Pumps, Osteoporosis, Thyroid and Endocrine disorders. He has extensive experience in General Medicine and is part of the inpatients Physician roster at John Flynn Private Hospital, and also offers three rapid access outpatient clinics per week at John Flynn Private Hospital.
His memberships include the Endocrine Society of Australia (ESA), Australian Diabetes Society (ADS), and the Internal Medicine Society of Australia and New Zealand (IMSANZ). Dr Daniel also holds academic appointments on the Gold Coast as Senior Lecturer, Griffith University and A/Professor, Bond University and is Director of Physician Education at The Tweed Hospital.
