Dr Warner completed his Bachelor of Medical Science at the University of Sydney and then went on to complete his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery with honours at the same institution.
Dr Warner completed his surgical training in 2010 at Royal Prince Alfred and Concord Hospitals and during his training completed a Masters of Surgery at the University of Sydney. He then underwent a year of general surgical training before undergoing two years of colorectal training at The Tweed Hospital and John Flynn Private Hospital.
Dr Warner’s main interests are in laparoscopic colorectal surgery, colorectal cancer, faecal incontinence and pelvic floor disorders. He is excited about developing robotic colorectal surgery at the John Flynn Hospital for rectal cancer and complex pelvic floor disorders.
He has a particular interest in teaching and is an active participant in both the Griffith and Bond University teaching programs as well as tuition of surgical registrars rotated through The Tweed Hospital.
