Allied Health

In keeping with our emphasis on multidisciplinary patient care, inpatient allied health services are provided by a highly competent team of allied health professionals.

This team incorporates physiotherapists, psychologists, dietitian and speech pathologists providing a range of services to patients

Chaplaincy

The hospital offers a Ecumenical Chaplaincy Service available to all patients and their families. Chaplains are on duty Monday to Friday (office hours) and oncall after hours. They can be contacted for you by the ward staff. Bedside communion is available. A quiet room is available and visits can be organised through the ward clerk or chaplain. Local clergy visit the hospital at your request.

Coffee Shop

Our coffee lounge, located on the ground floor near the front entrance, is open 8.00am to 6.30pm - Monday to Friday and 8.30am to 6.30pm - Saturday and Sunday. Meals, light refreshments, newspapers, magazines and flowers are available.

Pharmacy

Located on the ground floor, near the front entrance, the Pharmacy is open from 8.30am to 5.00pm - Monday to Friday and 9.00am to 12.00pm - Saturday. The Pharmacy is open to the public for the purchase of gifts and toiletries however, due to regulations governing some private pharmacies, is able to only dispense prescriptions for patients receiving treatment “in or at” John Flynn Hospital and Medical Centre.
