Your Stay
Accommodation
There are single and shared rooms. Every effort is made to accommodate you in the room of your choice. If your preference is not available at the time of admission, your request will be met as soon as possible. All single rooms have a private ensuite.
Coffee Shop
Our coffee lounge, located on the ground floor near the front entrance, is open 8.00am to 6.30pm - Monday to Friday and 8.30am to 6.30pm - Saturday and Sunday. Meals, light refreshments, newspapers, magazines and flowers are available.
Hairdresser
Available on request.
Interpreters
Available on request.
Laundry
The personal laundering service costs $5 per load. Alternatively, you are welcome to make your own arrangements.
Mail, fax
Patients can send and receive mail and faxes. Mail received after you leave will be forwarded to your home address.
Newspapers and magazines
Newspapers and magazines are sold in wards every morning, and are also available in the coffee shop.
Smoking
Smoking is not allowed inside the hospital.
Telephones
There is a phone beside every bed and there are public phones on each floor. Local calls are complimentary. STD, International calls are charged to your account. Please do not use mobile phones in the hospital as they interfere with medical equipment.
Television
There is a television next to every bed. The latest films are screened twice daily.

Banks, cafes, gift shops
There is a pharmacy, plus a coffee shop that sells newspapers, magazines, and flowers located in the foyer.
Feedback
Please contact the Hospital Director (execsec.jfp@ramsayhealth.com.au) if you have any feedback. Appreciation, comments and feedback cards are located in patient bedside compendiums.
Opening hours
Coffee shop 8am - 6.30pm weekdays, 8.30am - 6.30pm weekends
Pharmacy 8.30am - 5pm weekday, 9am - midday on Saturday.
The Red Cross volunteer trolley service also sells sweets in the wards.
Religious and social services
There is an Ecumenical chaplaincy service offered to all patients and their families. Bedside communion is available and local clergy visit on request.
