End of Life Care
The reality is that some people do die from cancer. Whilst Palliative Care is an ongoing process for managing symptoms and promoting function, End of Life Care refers to the care delivered during the final stages of your illness.
End of Life Care at the John Flynn Cancer Centre is provided with the utmost care and respect for you as an individual. The nursing staff will be there to provide care, support and guidance to you and your family and loved ones. Our nursing staff will act with compassion and respect, and advocate on behalf of your wishes.
The John Flynn Cancer Centre does not restrict access or time to family and loved ones during this time.
