John Flynn Cancer Centre are familiar with all the major cancer support networks and will assist you to ensure that you, your family and carers have all the support you need during your cancer journey.
Cancer Council Queensland Patient Support Volunteers
At the John Flynn Cancer Centre, direct one on one patient and family support is also provided by the Cancer Council Queensland Patient Support Volunteers. The volunteers may have experienced the diagnosis of cancer themselves or may have had loved ones go through a similar journey. They are available Monday - Friday and give patients and family members the chance to ask questions or provide cancer-related information and support.
X-ray / Imaging
South Coast Radiology are located on the ground level of the main hospital building and provide both hospital patients and the general public with access to x-ray, ultrasound and MRI services. They have numerous branches located throughout the region providing you with convenience regardless of your location.
Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology are located on level B3 of the main hospital building and provide pathology services to hospital inpatients and the general public. The John Flynn Private Hospital branch is set up as a procedural and collection centre.
QML Pathology are located in the Medical Centre, Suite 1B at John Flynn Private Hospital and are able equipped to carry out blood tests, semen analysis, glucose tolerance testing and other specialist collection.
