Francois Tudor is an internationally trained orthopaedic surgeon with further interest in knee surgery. He regularly manages injuries to the knee including ACL reconstruction, meniscus repair, multi ligament knee reconstruction and peri-articular fracture fixation. He also performs primary and revision knee arthroplasty. In addition, Dr Tudor performs trauma surgery at The Gold Coast University Hospital treating severe fractures and injuries to the lower limb.

Dr Tudor is compelled by the role he plays in assisting his patients to regain an active, healthy, and fulfilled life after their injuries or arthritis. He finds deep fulfillment when he sees his patients walk, eventually run again, and return to their normal lives and sports.

Dr Tudor is renowned for his ability to perform complex knee surgery and his excellence in treating complex sporting injuries sees him regularly work with athletes from the Gold Coast Titians, Burleigh Bears, Southport Sharks and Bond Rugby Union teams. He takes great pride in being active in the community, providing treatment and education for many local junior sports clubs and schools.

Dr Tudor is actively involved in training orthopaedic surgeons and junior doctors and has a number of ongoing research projects. He regularly teaches on knee surgery courses and has published many peer-review articles and book chapters. Francois is truly passionate about protecting and preserving young people’s knees, aiming to help them return from injury and remain active.
